DESCRIPTION:<p>
 <strong>Seafood Recipes and Salty Stories</strong><strong>From Alaska’s Commercial Fisherwomen </strong>
 </p>
 <p>
 Kiyo Marsh\, Tomi Marsh\, Laura Cooper
 </p>
 <p>
 In this lively cookbook\, three Alaska commercial fisherwomen share eighty mouth-watering seafood recipes\, their own as well as those they collected from other Alaskan fisherwomen. All reflect the bounty of seafood that was readily available to them when they fished in the Bering Sea on Tomi’s 78-foot boat\, the <em>Savage</em>.
 </p>
 <p>
 The book is filled with not only eye-catching photographs and Cooper’s illustrations\, but harrowing stories of their adventures on the fishing rounds of Alaska. All are seasoned fisherwomen\; they’ve worked every job on commercial fishing boats\, from cook to captain.  The Fishes &amp\; Dishes Cookbook also includes\: Tips for cleaning\, preserving\, and preparing fish\; how to pair wine with seafood\; a glossary of commercial fishing terms\; an explanation of fishing methods\; on-board fashion tips\; and information about sustainability.
